Anchored directly to the TFI, the three-day Advanced Tiers Forum will teach participants to create an effective and efficient system to install, implement and sustain Tier 2 group-based supports with fidelity using Check-In/Check-Out as the organizer. The learning intentions for this event include:

  • Establish a process to select and install interventions that are aligned to Tier 1 and readily available for students in need
  • Establish a system of support for staff implementing advanced tiers
  • Utilize data informed decision making to include progress monitoring of implementation fidelity and student outcomes
  • Increase instructional time, structure/predictability and opportunities for feedback for students needing Tier 2 supports
  • Establish routines for regular school-home communication

Who Should Attend?

Representation from division leadership teams are invited to attend. Schools eligible to participate are those schools implementing Tier 1 with fidelity as measured by the Tiered Fidelity Inventory. School teams choosing to attend the Advanced Tiers Forum should be those teams responsible for interventions at Tiers 2 and/or 3. Please contact your VTSS Systems Coach should you need additional guidance on which schools and/or teams would be the best match for this professional learning opportunity.

Meals: Lunch is included for all three days, and a continental breakfast for days two and three. Dinners are not included.
