Engaging Families in VTSS:
Moving Forward to Meaningful Partnerships

March 28 @ 10:30 am - 2:30 pm

Event Navigation

Division and school personnel are invited to attend a half-day workshop with Dr. Devon Minch. Dr. Minch is a technical assistance provider with the Florida Positive Behavior Support Project at the University of South Florida and is co-facilitator of the Family School Community Alliance (FSCA), an affiliate organization with the National PBIS Center. She will lead division and school teams through a systems approach to family engagement within multi-tiered systems of supports, using discussion, resource sharing, team planning and work time focused on the six critical elements of the Family Engagement Model. Participants will deepen their understanding of the critical elements, evaluate progress and areas of need related to each element, and create or revisit their vision and practices for meaningful family and community engagement. Teams will “dig deep” and plan around several target elements, share ideas and strategies with others, and affirm their commitment to future action.

Lunch will be provided; there is no registration fee.
