Tier 1: Data-Informed Decision Making (TFI 1.12-1.15)

The Virginia Tiered Systems of Supports is excited to host a two-day, interactive professional learning event focused on developing, implementing and sustaining a data-informed decision-making process in order to strengthen the effectiveness of Tier 1 instruction for behavior, academics, and mental wellness. Anchored to the Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI 1.12 – 1.15), this event is intended for school-based leadership teams and the division team members who support them. Divisions from PBIS Cohorts and VTSS Cohorts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are invited to attend. As a result of this professional learning, participants will:
- Recognize elements of an integrated and aligned data system that allows “real time” access to data, analyze current systems for data collection and design a school-wide system for aggregating data to inform instructional decisions.
- Reflect on current data informed decision making processes in order to design a more efficient and effective system for continuous learning and improvement
- Explain the importance of analyzing fidelity, root causes, and outcome data to evaluate implementation progress and select routines for examining these data to inform practices that result in equitable outcomes for ALL students./li>

VDOE/VTSS blocked rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity has been reached. Once the block is full, additional rooms cannot be added. All attendees are responsible for all travel expenses, including lodging and mileage. The applicable state rate on the date of check-in is offered for single, double, triple or quad overnight room accommodations.
You must guarantee your reservation with your personal/school credit card.
If you find you cannot attend the event, you must cancel the lodging reservations the day prior to arrival to avoid being charged one night's room + taxes. Rooms that are not cancelled in time on the day prior to arrival ("no shows") will be billed to your personal/school credit card.
