Systems Coaching 101 B and C

This two-day event will train attendees on Session B on Tuesday and Session C on Wednesday
During this one-day session of Systems Coaching 101, division coaches will continue to enhance the learning and experiences of Session A through a closer examination of coaching division and school teams for the effective use of data. Participants will examine fidelity tools and their applications and will take a deep dive into analyzing data within decision systems. Participants will build capacity to coach school teams in the development of tier definitions and division teams in the development of implementation and training plans.

During this final one-day session of Systems Coaching 101, participants will dive deeper into coaching around data-informed decision making. Participants will enhance their capacity to coach teams to address needs at all levels, i.e., needs of the division, of the school, and of the individual student. Participants will continue to build knowledge and skills for coaching the division team around VTSS implementation activities including the development/enhancement of the division’s training and implementation plan.

Who should attend?
VTSS Cohorts 1-5 and State VTSS Systems Coaches who have previously attended 101A.
How to Register
Attendees will register for both days at the registration site. The deadline for registering is Friday, 1/4/2019.
Note: Even if you registered for or attended Session A, you must register for Sessions B and C.

VDOE/VTSS blocked rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity has been reached. Once the block is full, additional rooms cannot be added. All attendees are responsible for all travel expenses, including lodging and mileage. The applicable state rate on the date of check-in is offered for single, double, triple or quad overnight room accommodations.
You must guarantee your reservation with your personal/school credit card.
If you find you cannot attend the event, you must cancel the lodging reservations the day prior to arrival to avoid being charged one night’s room + taxes. Rooms that are not cancelled in time on the day prior to arrival (“no shows”) will be billed to your personal/school credit card.
Checking in: Important Information
A credit card and I.D. are required at check-in. A deposit hold will be placed on the credit card in an amount to cover the anticipated room, tax and incidental charges.
SPECIAL NOTICE: At the time of check-in, the use of a debit card will initiate an immediate deduction from the account associated with the card. The charges that will be immediately deducted from the account will be the amount of the full stay, plus a possible additional fee per night for any incidentals. Upon check-out, any unused funds will be credited back to the applicable account. Based upon the bank, it may take three to five days, or even longer, to process this transaction to the account.
